Folding metal cot, painted white / cream; metal x-frame base on original four castors. The cot itself consists of two oblong metal frames connected with cord netting; the base constsis of a stong canvas or sailcloth tied to the frame with cotton threaded through blue metal eyelets; parts of the metal frame have been covered with cotton sheeting and lint (probably by previous owner for baby's safety). Within the top frame is a holding for a curved metal rod, that would have supported the tester or hangings (now missing).
