Shabti figure (male), of a quartz or sand composite paste or faience, standing on a square base, a flat backed support rising from the base and extending the length of the figure, the figure with hieroglyphic inscriptions on the lower body contained within a vertical panel, the legs conjoined, the upper body shrouded, the arms crossed, the head surmounted with a headdress, extending over the forehead and to the length of the plaited bead extending below the chin; the whole covered with a bright glassy turquoise glaze.
