Bucket-chain dredger FOREMOST GLEN (326gt). Dimensions : length 148' 4", beam 27' 1", draught 10' 3" (over depth of buckets). Built 1940 for the Great Western Railway Co., Cardiff, by A. Hall & Co., at Aberdeen. Following nationalisation on 1st January 1948, ownership was transferred to the British Transport Commission (Western Region), and then in January 1949, came under the auspices of The Docks & Inland Waterways Executive. She was scrapped in 1955.
