Strip of flattened D-shaped section. The present curvature suggests that it was fairly small. It is mainly plain, but a short band of decoration remains at one end. This consists of two bands of transverse lines separated by a plain rectangle ornamented only with an indented saltire. There is a slight widening round the saltire.
