Dwi wedi tynnu rhai lluniau. Anfonwch eich lluniau a cofiwch gymryd rhan yn y gystadleuaeth tynnu llun blodau. Os yw hi’n heulog am hanner awr, beth am fynd i dynnu lluniau’r blodau yn yr ardd?

Bron fel hud a lledrith mae crocysau wedi blodeuo hyd a lled Cymru!

Agorodd llawer ohonyn nhw yn ystod gwyliau’r hanner tymor, felly fe ddylen ni dderbyn llawer mwy o gofnodion gan ysgolion gan fod y disgyblion yn ôl yn yr ysgol nawr.

Yn anarferol eleni, rydyn ni wedi derbyn cofnodion o grocws yn agor yn y canolbarth cyn cofnodion o’r gorllewin. Dyma newyddion da i Ysgol Glantwymyn sydd fel arfer yn gorfod aros hiraf am eu blodau.

Darllenwch fy llythyr i weld sut i ennill trip ac i ennill eich tystysgrifau gwyddonwyr gwych.

Does dim cofnodion o gennin Pedr wedi fy nghyrraedd i eto, ond dwi’n si?r y clywn ni am adroddiadau cyn hir.

Mae fy nghennin Pedr i wedi dechrau troi eu pennau sy’n arwydd eu bod yn paratoi i flodeuo. Mae’r coed yn fy ngardd wedi dechrau blodeuo ac mae’r dail yn dechrau tyfu – cyn bo hir bydd fy ngardd i’n llawn lliw. Dwi methu aros! Mae llawer o arwyddion bod y gwanwyn wedi cyrraedd Sain Ffagan hefyd.

Mae fy nghrocws cyntaf wedi cyrraedd! Does dim ysgolion wedi son am rai eto, ond dwi’n disgwyl y bydd llawer o adroddiadau’n cyrraedd yr wythnos yma.

Cyn hir, bydd llawer o flodau yn ymddangos ar y map – yna gallwch chi weld yn union ble mae’r blodau yn agor gyntaf.

Cofiwch, mae blodau crocws yn agor tua chanol y bore, ac yn cau erbyn diwedd y dydd. Lawrlwythwch fy syniadau ymchwilio i brofi’r theori gyda’ch blodau crocws chi.

Peidiwch â cholli’ch blodau! Os na fydd eich crocws wedi agor erbyn diwedd yr wythnos, ewch â’ch pot adre gyda chi dros wyliau’r hanner tymor. Yna, gallwch chi fwynhau eich blodau a dangos i’r teulu beth rydych chi wedi bod yn ei dyfu.

Dydw i ddim wedi derbyn unrhyw gwestiynau’r wythnos hon, ond rydw i wedi cael adroddiadau o flagur gan Ysgol Gynradd Gatholig y Santes Fair ac Ysgol Gynradd Gatholig Sant Joseff.

Slowly, more and more schools are reporting shoot sightings! Cwm Glas Primary near Swansea have reported a few more shoots but still no sign at St. Mary's Catholic Primary School in Flint.

My daffodils are about 10cms tall now and my crocus have just popped through the soil. Even my mystery bulb is starting to grow and there are buds opening on my garden trees. A true sign that spring is coming!

Take a look at the pictures so you can be sure what bulbs you have growing. Send me some pictures of your shoots or how you collect your weather.

Watch your crocus very carefully now because once they start grow they can flower very quickly. As soon as they flower, send in your record so we can see on the map where the bulbs are opening first.

Competitions. Don't for get we have two fantastic competitions this year. The Daffodil Drawing Competition and the Win a trip competition. I've already recieved some very nice drawings from Bishops Childs Church in Wales School. I look forward to seeing some more from other schools soon...

Weather wise it's been very windy for most of us - so please check that your pots haven't fallen over.

Last week Bishop Childs C.I.W Primary asked: "If you plant your bulb at the same time as your partner will they open their flowers at the same time?"  

This is a very good question and if the bulbs were planted at the same time, were around the same size and kept in the same conditions then they could possibly open on the same day. But, all the bulbs are slightly different sizes and some may get more water or sunshine - so the tend to open on different days.

Generally, all of the bulbs in one school will open within a week or two of each other. At first, you get a few then the majority will open within a few days of each other, then a smaller number will take a little longer. It's a bit like a race, there will be a few quick ones, a larger group that arrives about the same time then a few slow ones.

In this experiment, we take the average flowering time. So we record each date from each flower then divide it by the total number of flowers. Look at the results from your school last year http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/2135/

Ysgol Glantwymyn asks: Ydy'r tywydd yma yn dda?/ Is this weather good? The recent warm temperatures we are having are good - as it is getting our bulbs growing. But, if we have a another cold snap it could be very damaging to our bulbs and slow them down again.

Maesycwmmer Primary School: A very frosty and cold week. We have noticed a few of our bulbs have started to grow. We have our chart ready and we are going to keep personal records of how much they grow each week. This is a great idea!

St. Mary's Catholic Primary School: It has been quite sunny this week and we haven't had a lot of rain.
