Soup tureen and cover, octagonal, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a pedestal base, curved, faceted sides, and notched lip; boar head handles; raised cover with flattened tp and notched lip, with an opening for a ladle, and pomegranate finial; tureen and cover painted with Chinoiserie style scenery of a Gazebo with a Chinese boy fishing from the bank, stylised leafy plants and flowering bushes, and a willow tree, in underglaze blue, gilt and red; the base with green, gilt and underglaze blue bands; the cover with a wide border of underglaze blue with gilt circular scrolls reserved with lunette shaped cartouches of iron red and gilt flowers and foliage, between green rosette medallions, banded with gilt and underglaze blue lines above and gilt and green bands below; gilt handles and finial.
