Casgliadau Arlein

Pearl glazed earthenware supper dish and cover, quadrant-shaped with one long convex and one short concave side. Dish with recessed edged to accommodate cover; brown enamelled rims. Cover with c-shaped handle that swells at centre. Interior of dish and exterior transfer printed in underglaze blue with the Swansea Willow Pattern (or Long Bridge pattern) of three arched bridge, pagodas and junks, with butterfly border.
