Plate, soft-paste porcelain, greyish paste with a creamy brown translucency, standing on a shallow foot rim, dish-shaped with pronounced cavetto and waved, fluted rim; the centre painted in polychrome enamels with a circular titled scene, 'Near Hafod', featuring the view over the wooded valley of the River Ystwyth looking west from Cefn Coch with a flock of sheep and two cows grazing on a hillside in the foreground, framed by a blue line edged with gold and gilded sprays, the rim with gilded pendant leaves below a blue border and gilded dentil edge.
