Glyn Pits looking down from the west into the brick well that housed the wooden flat rod that connected the crank wheel (attached to the reduction gearing from the flywheel and connecting rod) to the angle bob at the shaft collar. The wrought ironwork at the further end of view forms part of the angle bob.
