Casgliadau Arlein

Cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides, the interior sides reeded, plain loop handle, round domed cover, the finial to the top of the cover broken and missing leaving only a stem and leaves; finely painted in puce with around the exterior sides of the cup a large spray and several smaller sprigs of flowers including roses, further floral sprigs around the top of the cover, the handle and the stem and leaves on the cover picked out in puce. The lip-rim of the cup and the rim of the cover chipped.
