Casgliadau Arlein

Plate, white earthenware, circular shape with narrow tapering foot-rim with an incised ring aound it, curving sides and spreading rim; transfer-printed in green with to the centre of the well an ancient Greek-style male figure clad in a short tunic and cloak, leaning on a staff with a wreath around his head, border to the rim of a pattern of rounded-off oblongs and pendulate lines between green bands.
