Manufactured by Hiatt of Birmingham in the mid 19th century. Used in the Bargoed area
"Leading" handcuffs consisting of 2 wrist loops held together by a large rivet. The larger loop, for the prisoner's wrist, closes completely with a clasp. The smaller loop, for the police officer's wrist, remains slightly open. Stamped HIATT
