Vase, cover missing, tripod form: triangular foot with concave sides and chamfered points, and relief band along upper and lower edge; stem of vase formed of three separate dolphins, one placed on each corner each with its body curving upwards to support wheel-thrown bowl, hemi-ovoid, with central pendant boss formed of a reversed acorn finial, inverted at shoulder, flanged rim. Base glazed purple black, dolphins purple, bowl with a pink/purple souffle ground, deep purple rim, inside bowl pearl-glazed.
