Miniature plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim; transfer-printed in dark brown with to the centre of the well a small landscape scene showing two figures on horseback gazing across a river to a distant castle with a suspension bridge besides it, a tree overhangs one side of the scene.
