Casgliadau Arlein

Oak chair won by Dr Iorwerth C. Peate at the Inter-College Eisteddfod held in Aberystwyth in 1921. The chair is the first of three inter-college eisteddfod chairs won consecutively by Dr Peate when he was a student at University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.

The back has two fielded panels and the upper panel has a carved shield with carvings of a book bearing inscription, a leek motif on either side and carvings on the base of the shield.
