Teapot and cover and stand, hard-paste porcelain, teapot standing on a foot rim, globular body with a sloped step below handle and spout, up-turned spout, double c-scroll handle with up-turned thumbpiece, slightly domed cover with modelled acorn finial; decorated in brown enamel, on eitherside with landscape scenes, on one sie with a tree in the centre, three figures in a boat to right, building behind, river in centre, opposite a riverscape with two figures in a boat to the right in foreground, building and ruins to left, gilt foliate work to spout and handle, ornamental gilt border around rim, gilt border to foot rim; cover decorated eith two small landscapes, gilding to finial, stem and leaf, ornamental gilt border to rim.
