Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and convex top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of 'Hide and Seek', showing the interior of a kitchen with a seated female figure and several figures of children hiding around her, a further child enters the room through a door to one side, around the bottom of the scene is the inscription "HIDE AND SEEK", the print enclosed by a narrow circular dotted border.
