Cup, earthenware, spreading foot-rim, curving sides, plain loop handle; transfer-printed in green with the 'Amoy' pattern, a chinoiserie-style landscape with figures taking tea in the foreground, behind them are trees and a pergola-like building, to one side of them across an expanse of water are buildings on islands witha bridge between them, a scaled-down version of the same pattern to the interior bottom of the cup, border to the interior lip-rim of lappets issuing pendant garlands of leaves interspersed with rosettes, running border of leaves to the handle. Saucer, earthenware, rounded foot-rim, dish-shaped body with curving sides; transfer-printed in green with the 'Amoy' pattern as on the cup, border to the rim as on the cup.
