Coffee cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, coffee cup standing on a foot rim, tall sides tapered inwards at base, slightly everted lip, ear-shaped handle; decorated in polychrome enamels opposite the handle with an exotic bird with a purple body, yellow head feather and an orange tail and beak perching in a tree, rocks below, one orange flowered sprig, and one leaf, border of gilt lines with interweaving purple festoons and two large, green bows eitherside of handle. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides, decorated in the centre with an exotic bird with a pink body, an orange tail and head and purple, yellow and black wings, rocks and plants below, border of gilt lines, interweaving pink festoons and two green bows.
