Bonnet of black plaited straw. The brim is trimmed with black velvet, with plain black ribbon ties. Harrods label attached to lining. Worn by Muriel Lennox during the First World War. She was a VAD nurse and a member of the St John Ambulance Association, Barry Nursing Division.
