Cream tureen, round on a pedestal foot and with an everted rim, grooved down twisting loop handles (slight sideways distortion above the foot and to the handles); domed and waisted cover, pine cone finial and cut-out for a ladle; circular stand with recessed centre edged with moulding of twenty acanthus leaves, the tureen painted two large and two smaller arrangements of flowers and fruit including pink and white roses, tulips, convulvulus, lilac, speedwell, sunflowers, cornflowers, grapes apples and peaches; apple-green ground foot with floral wreaths in raised gilding and rim reserved with four sprays of flowers in foliate cartouches flanked with floral sprays in raised gilding; cover gilded within a similar green ground border; stand, en-suite with raised green border reserved and central decoration of flowers and fruit.
