Bellarmine or Bartmann jug, of grey stoneware, standing on a tapered foot, integral to the body with flared and uneven foot rim, bulbous body, rising to long, narrow neck with broad corded rim; simple pulled handle with elongated lower terminal; the body covered with an iron brown wash under a speckled salt glaze; applied to the neck, opposite the handle, a moulded bearded facemask, with scowling mouth and ribbed beard, below this an applied medallion containing, within a raised shield, a two headed bird, relief moulded in skeletal form, surmounted by a crown.
(Nid oes modd darparu delwedd o'r gwaith celf hwn ar hyn o bryd. Mae hyn naill ai oherwydd cyfyngiadau hawlfraint, neu oherwydd bod y ddelwedd yn aros i gael ei digideiddio. Ymddiheurwn am unrhyw anghyfleustra a achosir gan hyn.)
