Wirephoto published in the Tribune newspaper in 1969. Purchased by David Hurn from MMG Photo Archives. Full title: Dress rehearsal. A mock up of the Apollo 9 command module is hoisted aboard the mission's prime recovery ship, the carrier U.S.S Guadalcanal today. Rough weather and high seas, which plagued the simulated recovery today, could pose problems if they continue until Thursday, when the real Apollo 9 splashes down.
