Prehistoric wooden vessel
Fragment of the circular, flat bottomed base of a composite vessel. The sides have been shaped to form a horizontal lip into which a slight verical groove has been cut in which the sides would have rested. The is one externally counter sunk perforation surviving. Parallels can be found at Glastonbury Lake village (Bulleid and Grey).
