Cup and saucer
Cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, inverted bell-shaped cup with a flared rim that is moulded with scrolls around its edge, ear-shaped handle with a scrolled lower terminal, spreading circular base in the shape of scrolls, circular saucer with a rim that is moulded in the shape of scrolls and with a footring; the top half of the inside of the cup and the loop handle are gilded, the bottom half of the inside of the cup is banded with four concentric gilt lines and the centre of the saucer is banded with five concentric gilt lines, the rim of the cup and the saucer are gilded with white scroll detail, the foot of the cup is white with gold flourishes, painted with flower and fruit sprays on a brown ground shading to white.
