Woollen canvas, embroidered with coloured silks in cross, satin and stem stitches. Partly enclosed by naturalistic floral wavy stem border. At top: two stanzas of verse Duty to God and your Neighbour, flanked by a flowering plant and a house. Below: various detached motifs: floral, stag, parrots, Adam and Eve with Tree and serpent, shepherd and shepherdess with sheep and dog. At bottom: maker's inscription and date, with school name to one side.
