Plate, soft-paste porcelain; foot rim curving into straight spreading sides; painted with a wide border of sponged green enamel, with four gilt-outlined oval reserves of birds perched on branches ( one brown, the others polychrome ); an inner gilt border of arcades with three-petaled pendants; a gilt circular band in the centre, and a gilt band to the lip.
