Plate, white earthenware, circular shape with inset base, deep curving sides and spreading rim; transfer-printed in green with to the centre of the well an ancient Greek-style semi-naked female figure with a wreath around her head in a dancing pose, border to the rim of a pattern of rounded-off oblongs and pendulate lines between green bands.
