Oral history interview with Clyde Forde by Ceri Thompson. Clyde Forde was born in Cardiff in 1960. His mother was from Mountain Ash and his father was from Barbardos. He discusses his father's migration to Britian in the mid-1950s, initially working in the steel industry in Swansea before travelling to Cardiff. Although he indended to continue on to London, he remained in Cardiff, later spending time in Liverpool before returning to south Wales. Clyde reflects on the experiences of Caribbean migrants who arrived in Britain during this period and the movement of workers between different industries and regions.
