A decorative, hollow, bell-shaped object/cap made of lead alloy.
The object, is shaped like a bell with a decorative scalloped edge along the aperture. The upper surface is plain with a possible suspension loop ( now damaged) at the apex. On the mouth edge, beneath the scalloped decoration are a ring of connected small knobs. The internal suface is roung and unfinished.
There is a scar on the outer surface on one side of the bell, possibly a repair, which has a corresponding mark on the interior surface.
