Thank you for your comment. We are currently preparing an exhibition called 'War's Hell', which will focus on the battle of Mametz. Work by David Jones will be included, as well as focus in 'In Parenthesis'. Keep an eye on our 'What's On' page for more updates about the opening date.

Would it seem appropriate to put the work of David Jones on show this year to co-incide with the opera In Parenthesis and the anniversary of Mametz Wood ?

David Jones is known both as a poet ,artist and the author of possibly one of the greatest WW1 Poems of that war. There is soon to be an Opera based on his 'In Parenthesis' his epic work. . Dai Greatcoat /John Ball is an inspiration to all those of us with some Celtic blood or whose humanity is fortified by a stronger more ancient bloodline. of faith, love, and christian charity that Jones believed, so deeply in.
