I've loved this painting for years, the original was in St David's Hall a few years ago.
For me it's so exciting. I can just imagine her in the salon, its a hot day and she's bored of the repetetive conversation and the same pungent smells of hair solutions when he puts his head round the door and says "fancy the beach?" She throws her comb on the table and goes.

I saw this painting some years ago - and it has haunted me ever since. I love it. There's a special dynamic to it and I love the perspective. Definitely in my top ten of favourite paintings. Des Field. Australia.

Simply brilliant, inspiring moment, one of the greatest pieces of art I have ever seen. This artist with this painting hit a peak, maybe like a singer who comes out with a classic.

I first saw this magnificent painting in the private quarters of the former priest of St. Mary's in Brigend. He loved it, I loved it and time slipped away and I returned to Florida and have been attempting to purchase a print for yonks. Any ideas. I just love Running Away With The Hairdresser.

Perhaps twenty years ago I visited the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff and saw this painting.
I have been back there nine times to see it again and it has not been on display.
Of all the paintings in the collection, surely this must be the nations favourite, and yet it is not displayed .....
I am at a loss to imagine why this is the case?
Please let me know when I might see it again.
