Hello - I came across this in your collection and wondered if I might help find some provenance for it. While it would be difficult to trace the artist, it is one of a series of ship type profiles produced under guidance of Norman Wilkinson at Burlington House between summer of 1917 and the end of the war. These were litho printed, probably by Malby and Son, and distributed to one of 8 ports where, under the supervision of a "Dazzle Officer", the designs were applied to ships during their turn round in port. Bristol would have been the nearest port where this was carried out. I don't know if this is any help. If so do not hesitate to contact me and I can maybe fill in a little more background. I have examples of similar drawings held by IWM and by Rhode Island School of Design in the US who hold an excellent collection of similar drawings for US Navy Dept.

Kind regards, David Craddock
