Introduction: a rare mineral in tin-bearing hydrothermal vein deposits.
Occurrence in Wales: isolated grains of arsenopyrite, cobaltite and stannite are reported by Norton et al. (2000) as inclusions in gold grains panned from a stream north-east of Narberth, Pembrokeshire.
